I've seen Tony play a couple of times. Tony's songs are right from the heart and he bangs them out with conviction and determination. Great stuff!

I witnist Tony playing on 2 occasions. On the last one he asked me to write a review.
The show was great, eaven though i was getting a bit stoned, i remember i really liked the vibe of his music. It has the illusion that its simple, but in harmonies it has a high standard.
I pray that Tony will come back to play at the buurtbooerderij (www.buurtboerderij.nl :-) again, and this time i will stay sober in his honour.

Hi there.
Me and my band UPgrounded were also on the line up when you and friends played at Dwaze Zaken.
I got a real homebrew/campfire/natural feel from it! It felt a bit like a singing family. Very homey.
The lyrics sounded interesting and inspiring. Stuff I haven't heard a lot in accoustic music.
Though the sound at Dwaze Zaken was a bit unfocused that night and not very well balanced the vibe came across.
Very pleasant music with a warm and (don't know why, but it made me think of Canada) homemade feel to it.
Enjoyable stuff!

Hello there tony!!
thanks for your amazing CD, "No More U-turns". When i came to hear the song 'Just Passing Through' i was
very glad, (apart from the other songs and i never heard the beat-hipster
sixties club sound reproduced so well, i guess it's only possible to be done
by someone who has it all running in his veins) but when i heard 'marathon
of life', with marielle singing 'living, living!' oh man, you should have
seen me, dancing, screaming in the room. Really, i'm not joking, it made the
start of my day so powerful and pretty. And you know, to me it all fits,
because i went out, on my bike for 15 minutes or so, and i saw only details
you know, someone's shoes when i was standing by a traffic light, of course
only having the chorus of your song in my head (living, living!), a girl
singing on her bike and i looked very well but she really had no earphones
or whatever, just singing and slowly moving her head and i remembered your
saying: 'i like to tell people when they're beautiful', and it all fitted in my
new wave feeling, i am absolutely sure there is a new wave coming, the
second hippie wave. And everybody contributes, everyone is a drop in the
wave. You are a drop, (and you must be sensitive, already feeling it coming
in 1999 when you recorded your songs, and probably earlier already) and me,
i am a drop, by being me, and quoting your fifth element theory in one of my
rush poems.

What a nice night it was in Sappho's! I really enjoyed your songs. They are, as your voice is, honest and charming. Your version of "I Get Along Without You Very Well" (is that the right title? :) was really nice.
Hope to hear you play some more songs next time.
All the best!

hoi tony,
I heard you and your partner sing at the buurtboerderij in A'dam-westerpark: I really, really liked
it: finally I heard real music with
a real melody. All of me relaxed and I feld at ease.
Your songs tell good stories, I'd
like to hear them again.......
So, you should be less moddest in
telling about your website and
how to buy a CD; and have some CD's
with you when you perform!!
Thanks for the wonderful music and
I hope to hear more of you

"When Tony starts to sing, the words and melodies just come out naturally
and draw you into his lyrics and notes. His lyrics are about everyday life
and contemporary realities, sung in a warm and stirring voice..."

Hey, I really like your artwork and it's cool to hear you're into theater and art and music, we must be very similar souls. I wrote and produced a musical in Manhattan and have done some performance art projects that were pretty cool. Now I focus pretty exclusively on songwriting, playing open mics, and writing this software. -Charlie
